Houses on the Lands: Wallkill Valley Land Trust's 5th Annual Historic House Tour
Our 2015 tour explores the rich and enduring cultural history, architectural traditions and agricultural heritage of Marlborough's hamlets Milton, Marlboro and Lattingtown, with sweeping views of orchard-crowned hills to the west and the Hudson River Valley to the east.
Featured are many o the township's finest houses, farm complexes and historic sites dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, including grand river houses perched high above the Hudson, a fascinating early stone house museum and several charming rural homes in the heart or orchard country. Four sites are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
