Chefs of Tomorrow - a benefit for High School Culinary Arts Programs
Join WINE COUNTRY CHEFS OF TOMORROW and the SONOMA COUNTY LODGING ASSOCIATION on Thursday, April 7th at 5:30 pm at the Vintners Inn Event Center in Santa Rosa to benefit seven local high school culinary art programs.
This unique event partners high school students with local chefs for an entertaining evening fired up with a tasty appetizers competition, amazing travel opportunities and down right good fun!
This year's gastronomic adventure will feature TV personality Clark Wolf Food, Restaurant and Hospitality Consultant. Clark's frank discussion and global perspective should inspire and entertain students and guests alike.
Each of the schools has been paired with an executive chef and together they will conceive, source, prepare and serve delectable appetizers in hopes of winning the coveted People's Choice Award. Guests will vote for their favorite international appetizer featuring local ingredients. Each school's unique menu will be based on the culinary roots of the executive chef's family of origin.
Following the round-the-world appetizer reception, Vintners Inn Executive Chef Thomas Schmidt will put his spoonful of knowledge to work and present you with a dinner that is sure to take your taste buds travelling!
