The Meatmen / The Hookers / Child Bite / Against The Grain

Like a cartoon mallet to the head, the Meatmen a 35-year old legacy band lives on as one of the most recognizable names in punk and metal. Their primal decree, "We're The Meatmen, AND YOU SUCK!" is synonymous with the era and the attitude of hardcore punk.

The Mighty Men of Meat are anchored by the sharp-tongued wit of statuesque frontman Tesco Vee, co-creator of the original Touch & Go Records and Fanzine. Today, Vee and company continue to entertain fans with hilariously heavy records and a memorable live spectacle -replete with wild costuming and a gigantic confetti-spewing penis.

"During the Civil War prostitutes were known as 'Hookers' after an obliging Union General of the same name who supplied his men with the passion to keep fighting the good fight. The same spirit lives on in the modern day HOOKERS who have been schooling audiences in hardcore punk technique for so long sometimes even they forget how great they truly are. And like a whore gone to seed, the mighty HOOKERS just keep on getting more depraved, more insane and more brutal with their two chord assault. Who says the day of miracles is past?

Against the Grain is a 4 piece band out of The Motor City. They are a Speed Rock band blazing through the US with their brand of Gear-shifting Balls to the Wall music that incorporates all things heavy from Punk, Rock n roll, Doom and thrash culminated together for one huge sound of a rock n roll musical speed-ball. Putting rock music at the forefront, and leaving behind any pretentious gimmick to the side ATG plans on being being heard.

Child Bite is an American post-punk/art rock band formed in 2005 in Detroit, Michigan, currently signed with Joyful Noise Recordings. The band was established by Shawn Knight, the guitarist/vocalist and sole original member through multiple personnel changes in the band.
