Tickets will be available online until 12 hours before the event start time (so until 4:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011) The price is now the $25.00 Gate Price. Tickets will be available at the Gate until sold out.
"The Beer Train's pulling in to the Depot in South Cle Elum" Party at the Depot and Railyard! Make tracks and bring your thirst for Pacific Northwest microbrews and great live music featuring BUMP KITCHEN into the station at the 4th Annual Rails-To-Ales Brewfest! Similar to last year's lineup of nineteen regional breweries and hard cider producers, they will be pouring samples of their finest brews in the unique setting of the Ironhorse State Park's Milwaukee Road Depot and Railyard in South Cle Elum, WA. (Check www.RailsToAlesBrewfest.com for the complete brewery list.) A couple of wineries, food vendors and prizes will once again round out the festivities.
Getting There:
Centrally located, there's easy summertime access from any direction. From the Seattle area, just a scenic hour or so I-90 Corridor drive east through the Cascades brings you right to the recently restored historic depot. Map and full directions at www.RailsToAlesBREWFEST.com
Entertainment:
BUMP KITCHEN! MR. E BAND! JUMPIN'JOHNNY! 3 Live bands provide the party atmosphere while you chug on down the line.
Food:
Food vendors will be on site with tasty complements to the brews and tunes.
Railroad Theme:
Relive the history of railroad glory days and the Milwaukee Road through an easy short interpretive trail hike around the railyard and a visit to the depot's museum filled with railroad relics and memorabilia. Visitors delight at the scale model replica on display.
Collectors' Gear:
Be sure to get your very own collectors' t-shirts, hats, posters and additional souvenir glasses at the event.
Tickets: $20 in advance (until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011), $25 after that and at the gate (if not sold out) include:

Proceeds:
The Cascade Rail Foundation, a Washington State nonprofit corporation, is hosting the Brewfest. It is a fund raiser with all of the profits going back into future restoration projects and maintenance of the Historic South Cle Elum Depot, railyard, and substation.

There is a one-time youth baseball tourney the same weekend as the Brewfest this year, so in addition to our Lodging Partners in the immediate area, we are adding Lodging Partners in nearby Ellensburg, which has a larger number of hotels. The Airporter Shuttle, http://secure.airporter.com/cgi-bin/query/orders/s1a.cfg offers several trips between downtown Cle Elum and Ellensburg for $5.00 each way. Our free event shuttle has a stop at the Cle Elum Shell/Subway Sandwich shop stop to catch the Airporter Shuttle bus. In Ellensburg, the stop at the Quality Inn is within walking distance of 8 hotels/motels, including the Quality Inn itself. Many are arranging special discounts for Brewfest attendees. The Quality Inn has already signed on for a 10% discount for a 1 night stay, and 15% discount for a 2-night stay as one of our Lodging Partners for guests showing their Rails to Ales Brewfest Ticket, or mentioning the event when booking. Other lodging choices within a short radius from the Airporter stop include: Super 8 Ellensburg, Comfort Inn Ellensburg, Best Western Lincoln Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Days Inn, Knights Inn, and the Inn at Goose Creek. For those with designated drivers, there are also other lodging places within Ellensburg, which is approximately 20 minutes from Cle Elum, with easy I-90 access. If camping is for you, there are a number of campgrounds and RV parks within the areas surrounding South Cle Elum. |
