December 16th - AIN NYC Regional Meeting - Master Class
For our next gathering, at 6:30 on Dec. 16th in room 402 of Pearl Studios (500 8th Ave), we are trying something new - we will have a Master Class in Applied Improvisation. In this session a panel of applied improvisation experts will provide feedback to presenters.
Format for the evening:
- Very quick warm-up and introduction
- Three 40-minute sessions where a presenter facilitates a game or exercise using the other attendees as participants.
The presenter is then given feedback by our panel of three experts - Kat Koppett, Bord Brande, Zohar Adner
RFP - Request for Presenters (due Dec 3rd - send to nyc.ain@gmail.com)
As a presenter, you would present 10-15 minutes of material you are working or seeking feedback.
* Prepare:
o Context of the exercise
o Objective
* Run the exercise
* Debrief it
* Get feedback on any or all of:
o Presentation skills
o Set-up
o Facilitation
o Debriefing
o Instructional design - was that the right exercise for the objective?
* Facilitate some of the material again incorporating the feedback from the panel
