LAVC Guitar Department Concert
The annual winter concert of the LAVC Guitar Department directed by Dr. Gregory Newton, features a performance of the LAVC Guitar Orchestra, as well as several individual performances and small ensembles. They will perform a variety of repertoire including classical, blues and holiday pieces. The 30 member Guitar Orchestra contains students and local community musicians in a very unique setting for guitar. Come out and enjoy the sound of a symphony of guitars!
The concert will be held in the Los Angeles Valley College Music Recital Hall, inside the Music Building. The Music Building is located at the far northwest corner of campus, near the intersection of Oxnard and Fulton. Free parking is available in the lot just north of the music building (Lot B). Do not park in the faculty/staff lot which is parallel to Fulton Ave.
