OC Roller Girls Gone Wild: Spring Break 2007

The OC Roller Girls will present the 5th bout in their first season as Orange County's Roller Derby league.
Following the success of the first four bouts, "Spring Break 2007" will pit the Orange County Roller Girls own Back Bay Bombshells against the Psycho Ex-Girlfriends.
The match will be held at Anaheim Hockey Club. Doors will open at 8:30 pm, and the bout begins at 9:00. Spectators of all ages are permitted, but there are some safety-related seating restrictions for young fans.
Tickets will cost $12 for general admission and $20 for VIP seats.
There will be entertainment including live music & a special appearance by OC Elvis. Food and drinks will be available between periods.
Far from the typical "Newport Beach Housewife" perception of the OC, Roller Derby is part hockey, part windsprints, part primal rage, and entirely entertaining.
On April 21, 2007, a squad of Psycho Ex-Girlfriends set out in search of a new entry point into the fertile hunting ground of Newport Beach: a territory known for its spectacular nightlife and an ample supply of singles with above-average credit ratings. Instead, they encountered a patrol sent out by the Back Bay Bombshells, protectors of the ecologically sensitive area near the Costa Mesa border (conveniently located near major freeways and several upscale shopping areas), a nearly lawless place where even condo developers fear to tread.
The encounter sparked a vicious battle lasting 60 minutes, a battle of wits, wheels, and wiles (plus more than a few well-placed body blocks), a furious feminine frenzy where only the fastest and strongest would have a chance⦠A battle known to the history books as: The Spring Break Beating.
