Nick Videen Quartet
Saxophonist Nick Videen grew up in Cambridge, Minnesota and got his start in the Twin Cities jazz scene in the late '90s. Nick was a member of the national Grammy Band in 2001. Later in 2001, he attended New England Conservatory, where he graduated with distinction in 2005. Since then, Nick has been performing with a variety of bands throughout the Northeast at venues such as Blue Note, Regattabar, Iridium, and Webster Hall.
He has toured internationally and/or recorded with artists such Beyonce, Bob Moses, LaLa Brooks, The Superpowers, Curren$y, and Meta Dia. He co-leads the renowned NYC horn section, "The Superpower Horns", which can be heard on various recordings including two platinum albums and a Grammy award winning song, as well as on stage supporting a variety of artists. He also leads a jazz quartet, which performs regularly in New York City.
