Michael Hawkes (guitar/vocals), Bruce Shew (bass/vocals) and Chris Bartnikowski (drums/vocals) round out the Journey complement.
Steve Armstrong & The 25 Cent Beer Band: Steve Armstrong & The 25 Cent Beer Band have made a lot of progress in a short time. After winning the Michigan Idol Competition in 2007 Armstrong put together a powerful lineup of top notch muscians with expertise in different generas of music and began playing in local clubs. People soon began to take note. The band won it's first Music Award in 2009. The Review Magazine Fans voted # 1 Country Music Band, and followed it up in 2010, again voted # 1 Country Band. In addition each member of the Band won top honors in their individual categories. 2011 marked another win for the band. In 2012 Steve and the guys made history by winning the top spot for the 4th year in a row. Never before has a band won this many times, in any genera of music. In all the band has won 12 Review music awards, another record. Their fan base continues to grow as do the crowds at their shows. The band's highly anticipated debut album was released in mid June 2012. These guys are at the top of their game and are ready to kick off this summer with a big BANG !! Stronger than ever, Jedi Mind Trip will take you back in time and rock out all your favorite hits from bands like Bon Jovi, The Outfield, 38 Special, Europe, Poison, Def Leppard, Eddie Money just to name a few.
Dani Vitany & Ten Hand Tall: New to this years line up! From the onset of their arrival on to the Flint/Tri-City area music scene in the late fall of 2012, Dani Vitany & TenHands Tall has been turning heads in night clubs and on stages across the state. Logging in 125 plus shows in 50 weeks throughout the state of Michigan and Ohio, they have proven their dedication and passion for their craft. Their talent and willingness to work hard earned them two first place wins in two separate battle of the bands competitions in 2013, awarding them the opening showcase for American Idol's Chris Daughtry this summer at the Bay City's Just for Kids Concert in front of a crowd of over three thousand fans. In the annual Bay Area Music Awards this year lead singer Dani Vitany captured Country Lead Vocalist of the Year and lead guitarist Barry Forster picked up the Country Instrumentalist of the Year. Ten Hands Tall is anchored by veteran drummer Dan Currier and bassist Rick Brown, in combination with versatile guitarist Jerome Ratell and multi-instrumentalist Billy Gunther. A blend of youth and maturity, the group takes the stage and captures the crowd with tight renditions of New Modern Country music, and Classic Country songs as well. There is literally something for everyone at every show. Highlighted performances include the Bull & Barrel Stage at the prestigious WYCD's Hoedown in Motown, Jackson MI's Country Palooza, the Bobby Randall Birthday Bash featuring, Mark Wills, headlining Michigan's Big Country Music Fest in Frankenmuth, Michigan and opening at the Machine Shop for the Lacs.
