SF Choral Artists: Silent Night, Noisy Night
St Paul's Episcopal Church Oakland, CA
Joyous celebration and quiet contemplation of the holidays: Celebrate the season with choral gems from around the world, and world premieres written for the occasion. Bring your family to join our family as we share musical gifts.
The program includes works by Early Music composers by Byrd and Nanino; more contemporary works by Desamours, Jansons, Joubert, Karai, Lemacher, Nordqvist, Paynter, Pilkington, Pinkham, Sametz, Vlad, and Willan; and world premieres from local Composer-In-Residence Richard Felciano and Australian Composer-Not-in-Residence Stephen Leek. Magen Solomon, Artistic Director.
Note: Street parking is usually available. Generally not suggested for children under age 6 due to quiet nature of some repertoire.
