East St. Dance Center: Pieces Of Now, Childhood Cancer Awareness Project on Tour
March 27th at 730pm @East St. Dance Center
YOU CHOOSE WHAT YOU PAY: $15 minimum, but, pay up to $60 or more and donate more to pediatric oncology!
This is going to be a performance that tells the story of a child who was diagnosed at 14 years old with Cancer and lost her battle a little over a year later. The performance will honor her life and create awareness about childhood cancers. In addition the 50% of the performances proceeds will go to Pediatric Oncology Units around the New England. Each performance will target a particular Hospital.
The dancers at IBIT have been working on this project for over a year and in the months of February and March have embarked upon a project of visiting hospitals, performing for kids and meeting doctors and care takers of children with cancer in order to do their research and give back as move through this project.
The performance will include beautiful and moving dancing form dancers in a wide age range because of the subject matter. The more people attend the performance, the more money we raise to keep the project going and the more money we raise to donate to Pediatric Oncology units.
