ENSURING OUR CHILDREN'S WELFARE BENEFIT LUNCHEON

Anointed Vessel Productions, Inc. will host its 3rd Annual "Ensuring Our Children's Welfare" Benefit Luncheon on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 12:00pm in honor of National Foster Care Month. This luncheon is a tribute to foster families and will be held at the Central Middle School Multi-purpose Hall located at 4795 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA 92506. The general admission is $20.00 and includes lunch, live music, dance, fashion show, dramatic performances on foster care issues, a silent auction, and vendor tables. There will be a special honorary presentation to an outstanding foster parent(s) and special recognition will be given to a successful former foster youth.

Proceeds from the event will provide a fund development to sustain our after school performing arts program (Project Heartbeat). Project Heartbeat is a 10-week intensive community after school performing arts program/vocation that provides alternative education and life skills development workshops; utilizing acting and theatre techniques to empower youth to better adapt to their environment, develop character, increase confidence and academic achievement to promote self-sufficiency. The program provides mentorship, and a companion job readiness component as an entry level position in the entertainment industry (TV, stage, film) that provides on the job training providing the participants with valuable practical theatre experience and a basic understanding of all the elements of stage production from casting to live performance

In keeping with our commitment to ensure school aged youth of Riverside County reach their greatest potential, we have set a goal of sponsoring 10 foster youth delegates to attend this event who would otherwise not be able to attend, and provide care packages containing educational material and various sundry items to each of the delegates. Your support can help us meet this goal and to establish a network of care system for these youth.
