An Evening With Pina Bausch
Legendary German dancer and choreographer Pina Bausch, who directed the Tanztheater de Wuppertal from 1973 until her unforeseen death in 2009, is considered not only a great figure of German expressionist dance, but also as one of the greatest contemporary choreographers of the 20th century. An Evening with Pina Bausch features two documentaries that offer insight into her artistic life and creative process. A presentation of the Minnesota Dance Film Festival by Cinema Revolution Society, co-presented by the Germanic-American Institute and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
