In Search of the Mothman
Join an all star cast of presenters to celebrate and explore Mothman! Visit the TNT area, where Mothman was first seen. Hear incredible stories about the mysterious Men in Black, the collapse of the Silver Bridge, the curse of Chief Cornstalk and much more. Tour the Mothman Museum and take photos by the iconic Mothman statue.

This event will be the first time that Richard Hatem, screenwriter for 2002 feature film, The Mothman Prophecies, will visit the Point Pleasant, WV area.

Joining in the search will be Amy Bruni, Chip Coffey, John Frick, Sheena Metal, Greg Newkirk & Dana Matthews, and John Tenney. Each presenter brings a unique perspective to the event, from insights into the riveting Mothman stories to paranormal investigation techniques.

The weekend will begin on Friday, July 17th with a Meet & Greet, featuring all of the presenters, in the host hotel's conference room. After a dinner break, Mr. Hatem will discuss his experiences with the making of the movie. A Q&A session, moderated by Sheena Metal, will follow his presentation.

Saturday, we will have a number of presentations by experts on Mothman, Cryptozoology, and Ultra-terrestrials, ending with a visit to downtown Point Pleasant, where we will hold informal investigations, led by the presenters, at the site of the Silver Bridge collapse!

Also on Saturday evening, we are offering dinner with the presenters as a special add-on feature. A very limited number of seats are available, so please purchase quickly. (Extra charge for dinner add-on. Alcoholic beverages not included in dinner cost.)

In 2007, Amy was recruited to be part of the TAPS team on the East Coast and in addition to her investigative duties, serves as the team's historical researcher. With more than 20 years experience studying the paranormal, when Amy isn't leading paranormal investigations through her new company Strange Escapes, she is traveling to colleges and visiting paranormal teams, lecturing on the history of paranormal investigation and the nature of group dynamics in the paranormal field.

John Frick
John Frick is a paranormal investigator with a primary interest in UFOs and monsters. He has been investigating along with his brother Tim since 2002. His belief is that the bulk of sightings through out modern history have been extra-dimensional in nature as opposed to nuts and bolts. He has been very interested in this subject since seeing a flying saucer over the suburbs of Baltimore when he was seven. In 1992 he first learned of the Mothman when he read John Keel's book, and in 2002 he and his brother went to Point Pleasant for the first time, and the paranormal strangeness started almost immediately. John has gone back to Point Pleasant several times per year every year since, and has become involved with the Mothman Festival. He and his brother have flown the Mothman over the hayride every year since 2004.
