Joanne Rand and Anna Schaad at the Firehouse Performing Arts Center
Come join us for a session of soul feeding sound with the extraordinary folk singer Joanne Rand, heralding from her hometown of Arcata, California. A touring folk legend for over a quarter century, with hundreds of songs from over a dozen albums, Joanne will be on the road promoting her 14th release, "Still a Real World." Rand will be joined by her good friend and local violinist/composer Anna Schaad on fiddle, electric 5 string violin, and viola. The Firehouse theater will provide and intimate setting where the audience can bathe in the enigmatic and luscious stories, sounds and vibrations which pour forth from the instruments and vocal chords of these dynamic performers.
