Through many years of singing and living jazz music, native born San Franciscan, Gail Dobson, has developed into what S.F. Examiner critic Phil Elwood called "a first-rate, especially knowing performer". She started out in San Francisco playing such legendary North Beach haunts as the Purple Onion, the Hungry i, and the Jazz Workshop. Gail is now the featured vocalist for the Ray Brown Great Big Band, and a beloved educator to many.
