Event
La Chagrin des Ogres
Compagnie Artara presents La Chagrin des Ogres (The Sorrow of Ogres) The play invites us to an original sensorial diving in the mental universe of the present day youth. In order to nurture this dramatic fiction - a day unlike the others during which two teenagers will lose their share of childhood - Fabrice Murgia was inspired by two emblematic figures of this new millennium: Sebastien Bosse and Natascha Kampusch. In 2006, Sebastian Bosse, a young German aged 18, fired at 37 schoolmates and professors of his former school before turning the gun on himself. He had announced his action on the Web. The same year, Natascha Kampusch, kidnapped and imprisoned all her adolescence by an electrical engineer, escapes from her jail. She eventually became a talk-show host on Austrian television.
