Long Live the Kings' 2010 Chairman's Council Luncheon
The LLTK Board of Directors invites you to the 2010 Chairman's Council Luncheon:
"The State of the King: Chinook Salmon Recovery in the Pacific Northwest"
Featuring guest speaker William W. Stelle, Jr., Regional Administrator, NW Region, National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA).
Will Stelle was appointed as the Regional Administrator for the Northwest Region of NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service in May, 2010. The Northwest Region administers fisheries, endangered species and marine mammal programs off the coasts of Oregon and Washington, and in the vast inland watershed habitats of Pacific salmon and steelhead in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
Before joining the Obama Administration, Will was a partner with the law firm of K&L Gates. His practice concentrated on projects involving complex federal and state environmental regulatory challenges, specializing in freshwater and marine issues habitats and endangered species, CERCLA, CWA and NEPA issues. Will served as NOAA Fisheries' Northwest Regional
Administrator from 1994 until 2000, where he managed the listings of salmon and steelhead populations under the Endangered Species Act in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California. He has extensive experience in state, Tribal and Congressional relations.
