Sandbox Theatre's Unspeakable Things: The Wandrei Brothers Project
"Unspeakable Things" invites you to take a trip into the strange, twisted, and horrific minds of Donald and Howard Wandrei; St. Paul, Minnesota natives and pioneers in the world of Science Fiction and Fantasy literature.
Writers, illustrators, dreamers, eccentrics; Donald and Howard Wandrei lived lives both of decadence and despair.
"Unspeakable Things" will transform the Red Eye stage, delivering to the audience an intimate look inside the home of the Wandreis (the real house still stands). A newly imagined space weaving its way through the Wandrei world, "Unspeakable Things" will explore what happens when masters of horror let their real-life fears take over their lives.
"Unspeakable Things" is the creation of over two dozen artist collaborators, and features John Middleton as Donald Wandrei.
