Wool Preparation
The student should have a general idea what they will use their fleece for. The first lesson will cover choosing a fleece, skirting it, preparing for washing, washing and drying. The second lesson will include picking or flicking" and carding, as well as wool storage. At the completion of the class, the student will be able to propare the rest of their fleece for spinning on their own.
It is recommended that the student continue their instruction with the next class on beginning spinning, felting or weaving with roving. Fleece is provided.
