A Borrowed Identity
A BORROWED IDENTITY is the story of a young Arab Israeli who straddles two worlds and the journey he takes in navigating Israeli society.  The film is the latest from award winning director Eran Riklis (ZAYTOUN, THE SYRIAN BRIDE, LEMON TREE) and is considered to be one of Riklis best. Based on a semi-autobiographical novel by Sayed Kashua, creator of the Israeli TV series "Arab Labor", it features a superb cast including Ali Suleiman (THE ATTACK, THE SYRIAN BRIDE) and newcomer Tawfeek Barhom.

A BORROWED IDENTITY made its North American premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and was nominated for four Israeli Academy Awards.  The screening will be followed by a Skype interview with Director Eran Riklis conducted by Bonnie Ellinger.
