This cutting-edge New York octet can lay claim to forging a future for jazz. Alto saxophonist Lehman's 2009 CD was named as one of the year's best by the New York Times's Nate Chinen: "breathtaking accomplishment, a blast of urban futurism at once hypnotic, kinetic and kaleidoscopic. And funky."
