An evening to celebrate Worldchanging's seven-year anniversary and spark a dialogue about the Cascade Region's most pressing issues. Mayor Sam Adams of Portland and Mayor Mike McGinn of Seattle will start the evening with a provocative conversation, moderated by Worldchanging Executive Editor Alex Steffen, on how two of our region's largest cities are becoming trendsetting icons of climate-neutral growth...and the big challenges that lie ahead. The evening also features special guest Denis Hayes, President and CEO of The Bullitt Foundation. Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the scope, scale and speed of the local and global challenges we face, as well as interact with environmental leaders in a diverse array of fields, all while enjoying sustainably-produced beer courtesy of the Fremont Brewing Company.
