Fundraiser for The Free Palestine Movement! Dinner, Discussion and Live Entertainment!
The Free Palestine Movement, in collaboration with the Arab Cultural and Community Center, invites you to join us for an evening of discussion, dinner and live entertainment by the highly acclaimed musical group, Aswat!
In May, 2010, a U.S. delegation from the Free Palestine Movement joined the Gaza Freedom Flotilla,
a civilian marine convoy carrying thousands of tons of humanitarian aid and hundreds of volunteers to Gaza. Israeli forces attacked these ships in international waters, killing nine human rights volunteers and injuring many more.
Come hear four distinguished Americans who
survived the Gaza Freedom Flotilla attack:
Ambassador Ed Peck, Veteran and USS Liberty Survivor, Joe Meadors, Engineer, Gene St. Onge and FPM Co-Founder, Paul Larudee.
We will hold our fundraiser at the beautiful San Mateo County Event Center at 2495 South Delaware Street in San Mateo.
When: Saturday, September 25, 2010 6:30 p.m.
