Hog Roast and Barn Dance at Heritage Prairie Farm
Heritage Prairie Market is proud to support the Center for Rural Psychology and its teaching clinic, Heartland Counseling, by hosting our 5th annual Hog Roast/Barn Dance Friend-raising Event.
Schedule:
- 3-5pm: Explore the Farm--farm tours, pet the goats, play farm games.
- 4-6pm: Food's On! -- roast pork with all the fixins', bountiful sides, local bear and wine by the glass. S'mores by the bonfire.
- 5-7pm: Dance the Night Away -- experienced callers teach you how to dance as the prairie settlers did.
Live music. Watch the sunset over the fields. Fun family event.
Heartland Counseling is the Center for Rural Psychology's teaching clinic, serving Elburn and its neighbors. Our experienced staff comes alongside people struggling with life's challenges. Heartland's Patient Assistance Fund assists your hurting neighbors who have no means to pay for help they urgently need. Last year, Heartland provided 648 reduced fee sessions valued at $73,645.
Every year, our licensed therapists train graduate interns who later go out to serve across the country. Fifteen CRP alumni now work in Idaho, Tennessee, Arkansas, Iowa, Alaska, Mississippi and Nebraska.
Your tax-deductible gift makes a real impact--here in Illinois and as far away as Alaska! Please help these rich blessings continue in 2011 and beyond. We need your generous support to bring Big Hopes to Small Towns.
Heritage Prairie Market is located on Brundige Road west of Randall, south of Rt 38. See www.hpmfarm.com
