FUTURE CITY | Friday, October 1, 2010 | 7pm: An evening to celebrate Worldchanging's seven-year anniversary and spark a dialogue about the Cascade Region's most pressing issues. The Mayors of Seattle and Portland will start the evening with a provocative conversation, moderated by Worldchanging Executive Editor Alex Steffen, on how two of our region's largest cities are becoming trendsetting icons of climate-neutral growth...and the big challenges that lie ahead. Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the scope, scale and speed of the local and global challenges we face, as well as interact with environmental leaders in a diverse array of fields. Worldchanging will also unveil a new project, Planetary, which re-frames global thinking on innovation.
