Veteran recording artist and Michigan native Mike Struwin has paired up with Michiana jam crafters, Fillmore's Ladder, splicing Struwin's roots vibe with Fillmore's improvisational groove. Playing under the name "Mike Struwin and The Rootsdown Band," this alchemy is taking them into magical territory, where great composition and psychedelic mastery have evolved into something golden. Struwin's lyric-driven Americana songcraft has been compared to that of Paul Westerburg and John Mellencamp.
