Norfolk Historical Walking Tour
Norfolk Walkabouts provides an off-the-beaten path tour of the Town Point and Freemason areas next to downtown by taking you into Norfolk's first suburb. Hear the stories of a young Norfolk in its early stages and how it's shaped Norfolk today!
Visitors and locals are sure to learn something new about America's first region. All are invited to obtain a historical perspective as well as a modern account of Norfolk and the Hampton Roads area.
Points of interest on the tour include the Norfolk Waterfront, an account of the historic encounter between the Monitor and the Merrimack, the Taiwan friendship garden and pagoda, and the historic Freemason neighborhood.
