Second Saturday Salon is a recurring event each 2nd Saturday that features local music, art, wine, and beer in an intimate setting. This month we are celebrating beer and exploring beer styles with our little Oktoberfest. Traditionally Fall in Europe is time for harvest festivals and brewing is intrinsically tied to grain harvests. We'll present an overview of the brewing process and discuss how the brewer's choices control his beer style. We'll have pics from a trip to Belgium and the Netherlands with stories from a trip to that Beer Holy Land.

<BR>We'll present a range of local commercial craft brews and mix in some of the home brews for a blind tasting. We thought about cooking veggie German food, but we don't really like that cuisine. So we are going Mexican! Come enjoy a taco buffet with a range of fixings and salsas.
