Staycee Pearl dance project
Street-inspired contemporary movement shares the spotlight with video and sound components, producing a singular experience responding to the excess in popular culture. The illusion and distortion of reality on screen, the obsession with celebrity, and finally the effect of this excess plays out on stage with moving bodies and stark white walls. Circle POP seeks connections, asks questions, answer others, and responds with a dynamically cohesive and entertaining performance installation.
