Forged in Fire
City Tech Theatreworks with the support of Cause Effect Agency presents: Forged in Fire, a collaborative performance piece by Okello Kelo Sam, Robert Ajwang, and Laura Edmondson that integrates humor, dance, music, and testimony to explore Okello's wrenching experiences of the civil war in northern Uganda. Performed by Okello, this moving piece also celebrates the culture and music of Uganda.
This performance is presented in support of Hope North, the school founded by Okello Sam for child victims of the civil war. Learn more about Hope North's mission to educate children and advance peace at hopenorth.org.
