This award-winning play, a tribute to Vietnam Veterans that tells true stories about the effects of the Vietnam War and the subsequent homecoming on veterans and their families, has finally come to Philadelphia!
The play originally opened in June, 1991 at Playhouse West Acting School & Repertory Theater, and is currently the longest running play in Los Angeles, and the longest consecutive-running drama in the country!
TONY SAVANT, the creator, co-writer, director, producer and 22 year cast member of "Welcome Home, Soldier", directs and acts in this production. He plans to run the play periodically in repertory.
JIM PARRACK (Holt on HBO's "True Blood", feature films "Fury", "Battle Los Angeles"), a long-time member of the LA production will also be joining the cast for these performances.
