III acts: Gala
The Gene Frankel Theatre

Over the course of a month (June 1 - June 30, 2011), 1 US based playwright and 2 Zimbabwean playwrights will journey across Zimbabwe leading playwriting workshops in various communities across the country. During this time, each playwright will write one act. Each act focusing in on one great and specific "act". (i.e. an act of devotion, an act of bravery, an act of dispair, etc.). These three pieces will then be performed together for a workshop performance on July 28th, 2011 (less than one month after DAT returns from Zimbabwe). Following the performance will be a wine reception fundraising event. The reception will include a Q&A, slideshows, videos, information on our upcoming projects in Zimbabwe, and more. Come join us for this fantastic night of theatre and wine as we come together to raise awareness (and money) for Zimbabwe!
