Vestal Virgins
Theater Schmeater Seattle, WA
The World Premiere of Vestal Virgins by local playwright Marcy Rodenborn. Nostalgia mixed with middle aged angst and 80's Punk gives this delightful comedy a taste as strong and distinctive as honey bear bong water. Not for the meek, these Vestal Virgins loved hard, lived hard and rocked until they dropped. Add a Disneyesque teen queen Diva, a virgin priestess, and a hard core agent, and these Vestal Virgins are jumping on the long hard climb back to the top of the charts.
Originally presented at the Fringe ACT Festival of new, original works in 2003, Theater Schmeater's production of Vestal Virgins will be the first fully mounted production of Ms. Rodenborn's play, and will be directed by Douglas Staley.
Note: Box Office opens at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early. Parking on Capitol Hill can be tight. Because of the intimate nature of our performance space, there will be no late seating.
