Youth Voices: Creating Change in Lowell & Across the Commonwealth.
Omni Parker House Boston, MA
State Senator Steven Panagiotakos has been named the inaugural Public Service Ally of the Year by the United Teen Equality Center (UTEC). For over 10 years, UTEC has served the City of Lowell's most disengaged young people, helping them trade violence and poverty for social and economic success. On October 18th from 5:30-7:30pm, UTEC will present Senator Panagiotakos with this award at its fall event: Youth Voices: Creating Change in Lowell & Across the Commonwealth. In addition to a tribute to the Senator, the evening will include a reception with light refreshments, a teen performance, and stories of hope and success from the next generation of civic leaders and UTEC's vision for creating change over the next year. The event will be held at the Omni Parker House, 60 School Street, Boston.
Note: Tickets are $100 if purchased by September 30th, and $125 each starting October 1st.
