"Producing Your Acting Career"
What does a Producer do?: Who is this, what do they do and how you can be a Producer for your own endeavors as an actor? Is there a video you want to shoot, a show you want to write? a stage show you want to put up?
Identify the story of you!: Everyone has a story, but may not be able to identify how to make their story interesting enough to sell an audience or an investing prospect.
Define your purpose and unique quality as an actor: What do you do that makes you unique? Well, let's improvise and see what you bring to a scene that makes you an essential part of this
Pitch yourself!: Can you sell yourself and your concept to the team you'd like to support you as actor? The show you'd like to put up? The concept you'd like financial support for? We'll improvise a pitch meeting.
Creating and exceeding your goals for an amazing career: Do you know what you want to do, how you want to do it and within what timeline? Do you believe you can make it happen? We'll create a plan consisting of reasonable, attainable time variables.
Communication/Organization: What is your intention before speaking/working with your writing partner or your group about a concept or show? What is your intention before calling that casting director or walking into that audition?
When it's all said and done, participants will have identified their project, defined their unique purpose/role in relation to the project, audition, or other personal acting endeavor. They'll create a plan/timeline and will be left to work their plan to achieve their goals. Good Luck!
