Join your local farmers' market friends to visit three incredible farms around Watsonville. We will leave from Downtown San Jose at 9:30 am, with a pick-up at the San Jose Caltrain station to meet the 9:51 train. From there we will continue to Pinnacle Ranch, Phil Foster's beautiful organic farm in San Juan Bautista. After touring Phil's veggie fields, we continue to the mysterious mushroom caves of Far West Fungi in Moss Landing. Learn how your trumpets, shiitakes, and porcinis grow before sitting down to an incredible farm-fresh lunch prepared by our market chefs. After lunch, we continue to Hillview Farm, where farmer Joe Stabile grows over 200 varieties of apples. We can compare apples to apples before heading home to San Jose, arriving by 5 pm. Lunch and bus transportation are included. Not to be missed!
