Taste of Slavic Village 2010
University Settlement is announcing their second annual "Taste of Slavic Village," a fundraiser that celebrates Slavic Village's culturally rich neighborhood and raises funds for University Settlement's Hunger Center.
Presenting sponsor of this year's event is Third Federal Foundation.
The event will take place Thursday, October 14th from 6:00 pm 9:00 pm at Sokol Greater Cleveland at the Bohemian National Hall, in the heart of Slavic Village.
The evening promises to be a delicious experience for all in attendance. Guests will have the opportunity to feast on a vast array of foods representative of this culturally diverse community. Many Slavic Village restaurants, religious and social organizations will be present to showcase some of their most delicious and well known dishes. Last year favorites included pierogies from Krusinski Fine Meat Products, potato pancakes from Old World Foods and Stuffed Cabbage from Seven Roses.
Back by popular demand, KC Harmon Blues Band will provide live entertainment. Throughout the evening guests will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for exciting prizes.
