Scavenger Hunt for Engineers Without Borders

The Charity Scavenger Hunt has been canceled due to low registration numbers. We are planning on rescheduling it for Spring 2011, and will need your help to get the word out!
Organize a trustworthy team, get in mental and physical shape, and set your course for adventure in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle! This inaugural annual scavenger hunt will challenge and perplex you with archaic picture clues, crazy physical challenges, zany Fremont trivia, and more secret destinations than you can shake a stick at! Best of all, this charity scavenger hunt will benefit the University of Washington Engineers Without Borders chapter and their community development projects in Bolivia.
Registration for each person on a team is $25 plus a small service fee. Teams of 3-4 are ideal!
The winning team will win $300 cash!

Note: -Be sure to check the event website for Trivia Thursdays! The winning team will have an early lead in the scavenger hunt!
-Teams must include at least 3 people but may not exceed 4 people. You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
-Every team should bring a digital camera, fully charged and ready for action! High quality camera phones are acceptable.
-Every team will be assigned a random object. In some challenges, you will be asked to go to a destination in Fremont, and take a picture with that random object in the scene! You will not know in advance what your random object will be....
-Teams are encouraged to come up with a creative name (at time of registration) and to dress up with a team theme! There are prizes for the best team name and best team costume!
-Bring comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. We're not your mother, but we feel like we should remind you anyway.
-You may want to bring a snack and some water as the scavenger hunt will last about 3 hours!
RULES
-No cars, bicycles, rollerblades, rollerskates, skateboards, unicycles, mopeds, segways, motorcycles, mules, horses, llamas, or any other form of transportation (mechanical, motorizes, or animal), other than your own legs. Wheelchairs, wheel barrels, and wagons are all ok.
-No breaking any city, state, or federal laws while on the scavenger hunt. You will obey all traffic laws when crossing streets.
-No frowning. This is a day of fun and adventure!
-No splitting up! Your team must remain together for the duration of the hunt.
-No pushing, hair pulling, spitting, name calling, bullying, or rudeness.
