Washington County Multi-Farm Tours

Our next day of farm touring and good food eating will be Saturday, August 21st in Washington County! Patrons of this all-day event will enjoy a beautiful ride through upstate New York and partake in a delicious farm-to-table lunch at Saratoga Apple. The lunch will include a BBQ featuring Manx Station grass-fed beef, farmer John Ubaldo's famous chorizo and pork sausage, and the best of late-summer produce from Sheldon Farms, Saratoga Apple, and other family-owned and operated farms in beautiful Washington County. Following lunch, we will make our way to Battenkill Creamery, where the group will experience farmstead ice cream made on-farm using milk from their own herd of dairy cows. We'll also have an ice cream tasting of flavors include vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and Washington County's best- rocky road. The true beauty of this area almost requires a full day experience, so that's what we're going to do! You will leave Manhattan near our 420 W 14th Street office on Saturday August 21st, 2010 at 8am. After a full day of tours, good food and new friends, you'll be back in the city around 8pm.

$75 for current Good Food to You customers
$95 for non-customers, general admission
