Patient HM
Patient HM by Dr. Vanda Wark, directed by Troy Miller
How do you define "memory?" How do you define "success?" It's the 1950s and a 16 year-old patient's doctors perform radical brain surgery on the boy, "successfully" treating him for his debilitating epileptic seizures. From that day forward, the seizures stop and so do the memories. Based on the true story of Patient HM, who for the next 55 years of his life never formed another new memory.
