You are invited to the Sushi & Sake Gala, a benefit event for Densho: The Japanese American Legacy Project. Join us for an evening of Japanese American culture and history to promote the educational mission of Densho. The event starts with our famous sushi & sake reception with the city's best sushi chefs and a fantastic array of premium sake, along with silent auction and entertainment. Admission also includes a benefit dinner after the reception to round out the evening!
Individual tickets are $150 each.
Sponsor Tables for 10 are also available for $2,000.
Proceeds from the Sushi & Sake Gala support the education work of Densho: The Japanese American Legacy Project. Densho (meaning "legacy") promotes critical thinking and equal justice, especially during national distress, through the preservation and examination of the Japanese American experience during World War II. Our free online digital archive contains over 800 hours of video oral histories and nearly 11,000 photos and documents about the Japanese American experience. We present these materials and accompanying social studies lessons to educate the general public about democratic principles, civil rights, and the responsibilities of citizenship.
Note: Please provide us with attendee's name(s) for the guest registration list when purchasing ticket(s). Tickets are transferrable but not refundable. Please notify Densho if you wish to have the guest name changed.
