The Flux Salon - "Out of Time"
You are invited to join us for a very special Open Invite edition of The Flux Salon.
We will present a reading of "Out of Time", the newest play by recent Gregory Award and Seattle Times Footlight Award winner Rachel Atkins ("Black Like Us"). Rachel will be joining us in person for an intimate conversation about this new work! In addition to the play reading, there will be live performances by Shontina Vernon + Band, beat-box artist Zeke Keeble, a sound installation from collaborate:create Cycle 3 resident artist Seth Caplan and more. The Flux Salon will be hosted by Hommage in Queen Anne, a French restaurant set along the Lake WA Ship Canal, featuring a menu driven by the changing seasons as well as Chef Nico Borzee's life experiences.
This Salon will mark the kick-off to Forward Flux Productions' inaugural 2015 season in Seattle (after moving here from NYC), and the third and final Salon in a series highlighting new pieces from female playwrights around the country.

Synopsis:
Three different pairs of women are linked by tragedy through time. 3 actors play 6 characters, all struggling to make a connection while facing disaster and its aftermath. "Out of Time" is a beautiful new play about life and death, choices and consequences, chance, hope, loss and survival.
Admission:

General Admission is $30 and includes a glass of wine upon arrival.
Subsidized Admission is available starting at $10, with the price adjusting up depending on amount of tickets sold.
VIP Co-Host Table - $100 - Admission for two, reserved table, two glasses of wine, meat and cheese board, and dessert.
VIP Host Table - $400 - (SOLD OUT - Please email salon@forwardflux.com if you are interested in purchasing a Host Table) Admission for four, reserved table at the front of the room, four cocktails, a bottle of wine, meat and cheese board, four small plates, and dessert. Plus, meet the playwright - Rachel Atkins will sit at your table during a portion of the performance!

About The Flux Salon:
The Flux Salon is a secret arts gathering that features readings of new plays and other performances in intimate spaces. You never know where the next Salon will take place - in the past they have been held in basements, living rooms, houseboats, wine shops, and restaurants around the city.
