ABOUT THE PRODUCTION:
Monkey Wrench Collective is honored to present the third show of their first season:  the West Coast Premiere of TRUE LOVE LIES, Canadian playwright Brad Fraser's hilarious and heart-breaking 2009 sequel to his famed 1989 back comedy UNIDENTIFIED HUMAN REMAINS AND THE TRUE NATURE OF LOVE.

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, multiple award-winning Brad Fraser has been writing since the age of 17 and his plays have been seen worldwide and translated into multiple languages. Some of his major plays include WOLFBOY - 1984; POOR SUPER MAN - 1994; MARTIN YESTERDAY - 1997; SNAKE IN FRIDGE  2000; OUTRAGEOUS  2000 (MUSICAL WITH Joey Miller); and COLD MEAT PARTY  2003. His film and television credits include LOVE AND HUMAN REMAINS and SNAKE IN FRIDGE, as well as several seasons with the hit series QUEER AS FOLK.
