Will Power to Youth's "As You Like It"
The Studio @ The Shakespeare Center Los Angeles, CA
Teen participants of Will Power to Youth are proud to present their original adaptation of "As You Like It," relevant to and inspired by their personal experiences.
These public performances mark the end of SCLA's nationally acclaimed arts enrichment & job training program, Will Power to Youth (WPY). WPY is an intensive 7-week program, which pairs local youth with professional artist mentors.
Recognized by the National Endowment of the Arts, The U.S. Department of Justice and former First Lady Barbara Bush, WPY has been hailed for its effectiveness at addressing unemployment, youth violence and high-school drop out rates.
