The Big Groove Productions founder and co-producer of the â09 Canyon Club Benefit for Richie Hayward, Leslie Butts in association with Sweet Relief Musicians fund presents A BENEFIT FOR RICHIE HAYWARD PART DEUX, July 25th@ 5pm at Joe's All American Bar and Grill 4311 W. Magnolia Blvd, Burbank,CA 91501. Tickets will be available at the door for $20.
Richie Hayward, drummer for the band Little Feat was diagnosed with Liver Cancer and Hepatitis C last year and has been undergoing treatment with good results so far. A concert was held for Hayward at the Canyon Club last October 09' to help supplement his treatment and care during the past few months. The Benefit concert âPart Deuxâ is being planned to continue showing support as he will also need a transplant. He has no medical coverage, and is not working, so therefore has no income. Hosted by LA Radio Legend Geno Michellini, artists scheduled to appear include Eddie Baytos and the Nervis Brothers with Steve McCormick, Teresa James and the Rhythm Tramps, The Big Blue Mac featuring Dallas Hodge and Tom MaClear with The Stagg Street Band Rhythm Section, Jerimiah Roiko Band, Cold As Ice featuring King Cotton, Mike Reilly Band, Amilia Spicer, Robert Heft Band, Mamas Pajamas featuring Tom Fillman, Shuffle Brothers, Plus Very Special Guests PAUL BARRERE AND FRED TACKETT OF LITTLE FEAT.
