"One Woman's journey towards forgiveness and rebirth with a touch of Island Lovin'. An Afro-Latina's discovery of self and the women who came before her. We watch as a young woman fishes into her past; tackling her mother's death and reuniting with her culture through the eyes of 16 Characters. This Spoken-Word Chore-Poem conjures the drums of Africa and the marimba of Costa Rica while exploring what it feels like to be back in "El Brazos De Su Madre" your mothers' arms...."
