Naturalist illustrations are simple but accurate drawings executed 'in situ' to document sightings, identify specimens, or to capture the flora and fauna of a special place. Learn how to draw while examining a fascinating selection of treasures from the museums collections and exhibits. Emerge with a sketchbook journal of quick scribbles, convincing renderings, sparkling watercolors, notes & notations, measurements & musings. This immersion in art and science is not to be missed.
Designed for beginners to professionals. A box lunch is provided both days Supply list will be given upon registration.
Cynthia Padilla is an internationally known botanical artist/naturalist illustrator. She paints highly detailed renderings of plants, flowers and natural science subjects, drawn to scale, colors mixed and matched to the exacting standards of the strict art form. She is sought internationally for exhibits, research projects, book & product reviews, lectures and as a travel leader on sketching tours worldwide.
