August First Saturday @ SMNHC
The Sandia Mountain Natural History Center (SMNHC), the MuseumÃ¢s offsite environmental education facility, will be open to the public on selected dates for hiking, birding, geocaching, and general outdoor enjoyment. Each month includes a special educational program beginning at 10:00 a.m. Gates are open from 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m.
The August 7th program is "Fire Ecology."
