July First Saturday @ SMNHC
The Sandia Mountain Natural History Center (SMNHC), the Museum's offsite environmental education facility, will be open to the public on selected dates for hiking, birding, geocaching, and general outdoor enjoyment. Each month includes a special educational program beginning at 10:00 a.m. Gates are open from 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m.
The July 3rd program is "Birding in the Sandias." Let the SMNHC staff introduce you to the summer birds of the Sandia Mountains.
